Instructions to Authors

Authors intending to submit manuscripts to Armaghan are requested to carefully read and comply with the following guidelines before submission:

  1. Originality of Submission: Manuscripts submitted to the journal must be original, unpublished, and must not be under consideration for publication in any other journal or publication venue.

  2. Author Information: Authors must provide their full name(s), institutional affiliation/designation, and contact information in both Urdu and English.

  3. Title and Abstract: Each manuscript must include the title in both Urdu and English, along with an abstract in English (250–300 words).

  4. Keywords: Authors should provide 10–12 keywords in both Urdu and English that accurately reflect the content of the manuscript.

  5. References: References should be prepared in accordance with the Chicago Manual of Style. Urdu references should be cited in both Arabic (Urdu script) and Roman transliteration, wherever applicable.

  6. File Format: Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format, preferably compatible with Microsoft Word 2013 or later versions.

  7. Reference Links: Wherever available, DOIs, URLs, or other persistent links should be included for all references.

  8. Manuscript Formatting: Urdu text should be single-spaced, typed in 15-point Jamal Noori Nastaleeq font. All tables, figures, charts, and illustrations should be inserted at the appropriate places within the manuscript rather than at the end.

  9. Compliance with Journal Style: Authors are responsible for ensuring that their manuscripts fully comply with the journal's formatting, citation, ethical, and bibliographic requirements before submission.

  10. Publication Fee: The journal charges a publication fee. The fee is applicable only after a manuscript has been successfully accepted for publication following the peer-review process.

If the manuscript does not meet the journal guidelines, it may be returned to the author for revision before peer review.
