Abstract

The Urdu novel was thoughtful and artistic with its colorful tales, adventures of Jinn fairies and sorcerers, while psychological and sexual intimacy also had its effect in defining romance and realism. Bano Qudsia is considered one of the representative writers who maintain their ideology despite the diverse and profound experiences of life. Bano Qudsia wrote three novels, including “Shehr-Be Misal”,
“Raja Gidh” and “Hasil Ghat”. She presented modern subject with technical skill. In her novels, she discussed the creation of human with their mental and intellectual evolution in the field of psychology, civilization, religion, mysticism in the universe. The novel of Bano Qudsia’ Hasil Ghat is a story written on post-9/11 modern world conditions that reflects the fundamental, cultural, religious and social contradictions of the West and the East.
The novel “Hasil Ghat is a reflection of the creative mind of Bano Qudsia, despite having a certain intellectual tendency. So it can be said that such novels have a special significance in the present era.
