Abstract

Muslim’s period of downfall started with the arrival of Britishers in South Asia. At that time, Sir Sayyad Ahmed Khan took the responsibility of Muslim's correction. He recognized the ancient rituals and raised his voice against these traditions. Western people with the establishment of their government made Muslims mentally paralyzed after mental torture. Sir Sayyad appeared as a hero at that time. Due to his latest views he was called Non-Muslim. Whether he was in favour of western education or he agreed for the sake of keeping national identity maintained, he was struggling for the betterment of Muslims. This point is also worth thinking, that the hypothesis he established in 19th century, modern science of 21st century accepts it or not.
