Abstract

 Marxism is a political and economical theory of  Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels. That examines the flaws inherent in capitalism and seeks to identify an alternative. In literary theory, a Marxist interpretation reads the text as an expression of contemporary, class struggle. Aazam kurevi is a known Urdu short story writer. Achoot  is one of his short story which discuss the caste system and social hierarchies. Reader can find a clear picture of social, cultural, political and religious aspects of east. This article presents the study of achoot with Marxism literary theory lens. It discuss how a group of people role the community by all means. At the end writer shows a way out of this suppressed society, which is a ray of  hope for proletrait.
